PERE MÉNDEZ MARSAL

Born in 1995 in l'Ametlla de Mar, Tarragona. A passionate chamber musician, he is a founding member of the Kebyart Ensemble, recently named ECHO Rising Stars, and the quartet with which he has won numerous competitions, including "El Primer Palau 2016", the BBVA Music Prize, the Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition ....
He regularly works with musicians such as Nacho Gascón, Jonathan Brown (Casals Quartet), Kenedy Moretti, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Sergio Azzolini, Rainer Schmidt (Hagen Quartet), Hatto Beyerle (Alban Berg Quartet), Johannes Meissl....
He has also collaborated with ensembles such as the OBC, JONC, BCN 216, Banda Municipal de Barcelona.... collaborated. 
In his debut as a soloist at the Palau de la Música Catalana, music critics highlighted "One of the most outstanding students of ESMUC, who has a rising career and shows an impeccable technique and musicality". 
He has been a member of the "Acadèmia Catalana de la Música" since 2020.
